We welcome you to gather for the First Saturday Prayer movement inspired by the Holy Spirit and the Eucharistic Conference (July 2024),
as an organic movement, praying for souls and encouraging spiritual life. Eucharistic Prayer Companions (EPCs) have gathered at various hosting Churches (The New Cathedral Basilica, Immacolata, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Alban Roe and Little Flower). We are now called to include Families for this Devotion beginning February 1st for the next five First Saturdays at: Little Flower Church 1264 Arch Terrace Drive St. Louis, MO 63117 Holy Eucharist 9:00am Devotions Following Focus: on Our Lady and Jesus’ request to Lucia to make reparation for offenses against his Sacred Heart and especially on Saturdays to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady of Fatima spoke to Lucia: “I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the rosary, and keep me company for 15 minutes while meditating on the 15 mysteries of the rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me.” Our Lady’s request and our response: For Five Consecutive Saturdays: 1) Receive Holy Communion at Mass. 2) Pray five decades of the Rosary. 3) Meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary for 15 minutes outside of the recitation of the Rosary. All Mysteries of the Rosary should be meditated upon within the 5 Saturdays. 4) The nature of the prayers includes a) Reparation and consolation for the five blasphemies committed against Our Lady: (blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception, blasphemies against her Perpetual Virginity, blasphemies against her Divine Maternity and at the same time the refusal to recognize her as the Mother of all mankind, blasphemies of those who seek openly to foster in the hearts of children indifference or contempt and even hatred for this Immaculate Mother and blasphemous offenses of those who directly outrage Her in her holy images.) b) Honoring Our Lady’s virtues, and petitioning Our Lord and Our Lady that we may imitate the Blessed Mother’s virtues. (Her profound humility, lively faith, blind obedience, continual prayer, universal mortification, divine purity, ardent charity, heroic patience, angelic sweetness and her divine wisdom). 5) Receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation within 8-20 days of the First Saturday. When we gather, we will celebrate the Eucharist, then pray Devotions in the Church. For Families and Children: after the Eucharist, we will proceed to a designated area for their Devotional Prayer and Activity. This will include a decade of the Rosary and “Moments with Mary.” Concluding with the Fatima Song – Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria.
